Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer ShopPay installments, which partners with Affirm for easy payment plans.
To pay with ShopPay installments; once you're in checkout, you will have the option to pay in installments. ShopPay will present you with personalized payment plan option(s).
What payment methods do you accept?
All major debit and credit cards are welcome here in addition to Google Pay and ShopPay installments.
Can I cancel or update my order?
Please send an email to hello@plumdiamonds as soon as possible to pause or cancel.
If you need to cancel your order, your next purchase will qualify for exchange instead of for free returns.
What if I’m not sure which ring or style to go with?
We understand this is a big decision and want you to feel confident in your purchase. There are a lot of try-on kits out there, but our Find Your Diamond Kit is one-of-a-kind. Not only can you discover your ring size but your favorite diamond carat weight and shape, too — all from the comfort of your home.
To order, answer a few questions, pick out your favorite shapes, and we'll send an assortment of diamond simulants of 1.0 - 3.0 carats to get an idea of what your diamond will look like when you wear it. Our kit includes a real ring sizer (not a flat plastic zip tie!), tips for choosing the right diamond ring for you, and 3 styles to try. There's no charge as long as you return the kit within 7 days. What if I get a ring and it doesn’t fit?
The last thing we want is for you to have a ring that you can't wear because it doesn't fit. We offer a free resizing for orders within 1 year of purchase and then a free resizing every year after that. The process is painless and included in our Free Lifetime Warranty care package. Shipping & Delivery
When Will My Ring Ship?
Our rings are made-to-order and take about 15 business days to carefully craft and QA.
If you have a special date in mind, contact us for options. We’ll do our best to help!
How are your rings packaged?
We believe a lovely presentation is important for your future heirloom! Plum rings are packaged with care in soft, premium velveteen or sueded ring boxes and come with a soft storage pouch.
You'll receive personalized cards with helpful tips on care, resizing (if it's needed), and how to reach us for help. All of this is tucked away inside a keepsake box with magnetic closure and delivered in an unmarked, discreet recycled kraft shipping box.
How long does shipping take and how much does it cost?
We offer FREE standard overnight shipping for all U.S. orders in the lower 48. Your ring will ship in 15 business days. Every ring is 100% made-to-order, so if production times vary, we will keep you posted. Subscribe to Plum emails to receive updates as your ring is crafted and your order progresses.
Where do you ship?
We ship free to the U.S in the lower 48. We do not ship to P.O. box addresses and ask that all orders be shipped to a physical business or home address for safe delivery. Don’t fret if you’re in Alaska or Hawaii (we’re jealous) - for other shipping needs, please contact us.
How does my ring ship?
We ship FedEx standard overnight. An adult signature is required upon delivery, and deliveries must be made to a physical address.
Do you require a signature upon delivery?
Yes, we do! We do everything possible to make sure your jewelry is delivered to you safe and sound which is why we require a signature on all orders over $500.
I ordered my ring and it says delivery takes up to 3 weeks. where is it?
All of our rings are 100% made-to-order so our production times may vary. To keep you posted, we’ll send email updates as your ring is crafted and moves through design to hand polishing.

Can I customize my ring?
Yes! We are a custom manufacturer at heart and are happy to customize your ring design.
Once we know what customization you’d like, we’ll provide a quote; the cost covers your revised CAD/CAM and any additional metal, diamonds, setting and finishing labor.
When you’re ready, we’ll email a separate invoice with payment link for easy order processing.
All of our rings are already made-to-order, and so customizing with us is a simple way to get EXACTLY what you want!

What are lab-grown diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are also known as man-made or lab-created. The main difference between lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds is where they come from. Believe it or not, lab diamonds have the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds but they’re made under controlled laboratory environments. Learn allll about lab grown diamonds.
All of our lab diamonds come with a unique grading certificate from an independent lab such as IGI (International Gemological Institute), GIA (The Gemological Institute of America), AGI (Accredited Gemological Institute) or GCAL (Gem Certification and Assurance Lab).
How do I choose a center diamond?
Our goal is to help make choosing your lab grown diamond uncomplicated. Once you select your ring design, you'll be prompted to choose your diamond.
Plum's lab grown diamond selection has been curated for quality, and we share expert tips along the way. Of course, you can always contact us for help.
How are your rings made?
By magic! Kidding (sort of). We use a mix of old-school and modern technology that starts with a CAD design and photopolymer prototype. Our proprietary casting methods and precious metal alloys result in the highest quality settings that are hand-set and polished.
Our selection of lab diamonds meets strict criteria for cut, polish, symmetry, color, and clarity. Our manufacturing team only works with high-quality precious metal alloys, and our expert setters hand-finish each ring—all of which go through rigorous quality assurance checks.
What is your production time?
Since all of our rings are custom made-to-order, production times can vary, but our rings typically ship within 3 weeks.
So you always know what's going on with your ring, we'll send email updates as your ring progresses.
I have a vintage stone/diamond/ring—am I able to use that in my ring?
We appreciate how precious heirloom diamonds can be and know that they require extra special care. We are unfortunately unable to work with diamonds, gemstones, or metals that are not provided by Plum.

Are your rings environmentally friendly?
Eco-friendly jewelry sourcing is baked into our jewelry. Our manufacturer is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), a global leader for ensuring responsible jewelry throughout the supply chain.
RCJ members are audited every 1-3 years for environmental sustainability, human rights, and financial accountability, including anti-money laundering and anti-bribery practices.
