Showing Off Your Diamond Center

Our centers are designed for security and slenderness to hold your diamond safely in place while letting in as much light as possible, so it sparkles like crazy. Most center settings flow smoothly into the band, which means your wedding ring can sit closely against your engagement ring when stacked.

Choosing a Halo Shape

This comes down to whether you want to look down at your hand and see a round halo or a slightly squared off halo shape. If you like the idea of having some angles, a Soft Square halo is a great choice because you still get the maximum brilliance of a timeless round diamond, with a little added geometric interest.

Precious Metals

We use recycled metals whenever possible, and our casters have been turning out the best quality precious metal alloys for decades. Our rings come in high karat gold, platinum, and gold with platinum center prongs (“two tone”).

PRO TIP: We craft yellow and white gold rings in 18k because it has a higher gold content than 14k; that means 18k gold rings contain more gold and less alloy metal.

PRO TIP: Platinum is a pure metal and very rare; it’s hypoallergenic and naturally white, so it does not require plating.

PRO TIP: When selecting a rose or yellow gold engagement ring, keep in mind that diamonds reflect and refract the colors around them. To amplify the whiteness and brightness of your diamond — and for an elevated look — consider choosing platinum prongs.

The Side View

Look at the ring from the side, like you’re looking through the finger; how do you like your halo to flow into your band? Cathedral halos are integrated with the band, which flows up into the halo. Simple halos might look more dramatic, like they’re floating on top.

Choosing Your Side Shape

There’s no right or wrong answer here! All are classic choices, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. All of our Three Stone customizations were carefully chosen to be universally flattering with a round diamond center.

Side Setting Size

This comes down to personal preference. Some like smaller diamonds on the side to help the center look larger by contrast, while other people prefer a look with larger diamonds and more coverage across the finger.
